Mumbai Half/Full Marathon 12th Jan 2013: Bhramanti congratulates to Sumit Shah & Pravin Kumar for succesfully completing the Full Marathon, Bhramanti congratulates to Lalitesh Mandrekar for completing half Marathon. Both Sumit and Lalitesh ran their 1st Marathon & half marathon respectively this time.

Lakefront 50/50 UltraMarathon, 27th Oct 12 : Bhramanti congratulates Rajan Rikame who successfully completed his 1st UltraMarathon held at Lakefront. He ran 50 Miles in 11:25 hrs in the cold temperature. With this race he covered 100+ miles of race run for Bhramanti's 10th Birthday. details..

Pune & Delhi Half Marathon: Bhramanti congratulates Sumit Shah who successfully completed the Airtel half Marathon (Delhi) on 27th Nov 2011 and Pune half marathon on 4th Dec 2011. He recorded the 21kms run in 1 hrs 30mins. According to him, “the Pune route was lovely and he is preparing for 100km trail run in Maysore in Feb 2012. We wish him all the best for his forth coming Marathon.

Singapore Half Marathon: Bhramanti congratulates Mayur Karmarkar who successfully completed Singapore Half Marathon on 4th Dec 2011.

Chicago Marathon 2011, 9th Oct 11 : Bhramanti congratulates Rajan Rikame (Managing Trustee) who successfully completed the Chicago marathon on 9th Oct 2011 for the 4th time. He recorded the 42kms run in 4 hrs 22mins. According to him, “the run was dedicated to Bhramanti and it's members specially during the last wall (6 miles) where nothing is comfortable”. He slowed down after half distance due to blood clotting on both legs finger tips which eventually added 45 minutes to his previous best time of 3 hr 35 min. details..

Giri Mitra Sammelan, Maharashtra Seva Sangh, Mulund, Best Rock Climber Award 2010 : We congratulate Nandkishore Chavan our rock climber for achieving THE BEST ROCK CLIMBER OF THE YEAR 2010 awarded to him at the Girimitra Sammelan on 16-17th July, 2011. This is the largest community gathering & conference of Himalayan and Sahyadri trekking community. This has been the greatest achievement for Bhramanti in its history. We appreciate Kaivalya Verma's efforts in coordinating/guiding/encouraging the climbing team for all sessions during year 2010, who based on performance of all, forwarded Kishore's nomination to the Maharashtra Seva Sangh for the award category. According to Kaivalya "It is only due to true team spirit as well as ethics which has helped us to achieve this feat".
Entire Bhramanti community is proud to have been associated with such a team.

Bhramanti congratulates our 2 members: Prasad Kancharla & Ram for having successfully completed there Basic Mountaineering courses at Manali last month. We wish them good luck for there future endeavors with Bhramanti.

Chicago Marathon 2008, 12th Oct 08: Rajan has participated in his 2nd Chicago Marathon. He finished the marathon is his own best time of 3:49 hrs. Among the Indian citizens names listed he became 3rd. For more details visit article link

Banco Popular Half Marathon, chicago 14th Sept 08: Rajan has participated in this Half Marathon. He finished the half marathon in his best time of 1:44:52 hrs. Among the Indians names listed he became 2nd. For more details visit his article link

Hydrabad Half Marathon, Aug 08 : Our member Tanuja Sarode stood 7th among the female participants. We congratulate her efforts to accomplish this successful event.

Shamrock Shufle 8k Marathon 30th Mar 08: A brief report by Rajan Rikame
" This time officially participated in the Shamrock Shuffle 8k marathon organised by Bank Of America.
I became 199th finisher in my cateogory(35-39 age group). Over all ranked 1390 & 1174 among the male participants. The total finishers were 22558 out of 30000 registered participants.10383 Males and 12175 Females were the finishers. I feel this time I did better than last time in terms of speed. This time weather was cold as compare with last time. It was cold througout the race started. As per the record findings from the shamrockshuffle.com I stood 8th as per the Indian participants."

Bhramanti Member Prasad Kancharla Participating the Mumbai Half Marathon(21 KM) on 20th Jan 08. He is runnng for a social cause to raise a fund for an NGO Apnalay. * Appointment as Asst. Secretary for Himalayan Club(International): Rajan Rikame has been appointed as Assistant Secretary (International) for Himalayan Club from August 2006. Himalayan Club is one of the oldest club of the country and is blessed by people like Mr. Harish Kapadia.

*** BMC International Summer Climbing meet 2006: Rajan Rikame our Managing Trustee will be attending the International summer meet 2006 organised by the British Mountaineering Club representing Himalayan Club/India. It's one week meet where all countries participating will be exchanging current happenings in this field and will be actually doing rock climbing in the North of Wales (Plas Y Brenin). It's grate honor for us since first time such participation from India. On 6th May 2006 at the opening ceremony of new office of the HMC, President Dr. M. S. Gill flagged off the three members with warm wishes. Also the grate personality Mr. Harish Kapadia along with Divyesh Mooni & Rajesh Gadgil wished the flying team on this occasion. Its proud moment to all of us.

Rockclimbing.com has nominated Rajan Rikame as the Area Manager for India. The major responsibility will be managing the routes published by various users. Currently it has 122 routes already published. This web site is one of the information gateway to the world about rock climbing in various parts of the world.
