Kheratal This place is having a story behind, it is located between intermediate base camp (Gujarhat) & Base camp on left of the root. Their was a King Cobra who used to stay here. His small temple you can find on the way between Bookhi & Tel. If anybody goes inside the lake,it happens that he will not come out of it. Nowadays the size of lake becomes shorter & shorter because of moss & screes are covering surrounding of the lake. Also their is another lake on upper side.

Draupadi-Ka-Danda This is a holy peak. Their is a story behind it. It is said that Draupad,i Wife of Pandava's left her sole on this peak while on the way to Swarga towards Swargarohini 22000 ft. To the east of this peak Gangotri-I, II, III & Kedarnath exists. On the north-west region Swargarohini can be seen from top of Draupadi-ka-danda.
